The next morning we headed out in calming seas and
light wind.
Passing the light at the southern tip of Acklins just
before sunset
After the storm passed, we surfed the remaining waves
into the Bight of Acklins for an overnight rest.
And watched the wooden Haitian fishing boats go by
Bob scraped the bottom to give us a bit more speed on
our upcoming crossing
We waited for three days for a storm to pass, tucked up
in a narrow tidal creek off Long Island.
By dawn the sea was glass, so we motored on to Great
Inagua Island.
